2021
- Acting on a tip-off, we started compiling a dossier on EHRC anti-trans activities.
- We compiled a dossier on the above, giving copies to selected LGBT Organisations, journalists and MPs, some of whom had hand-delivered hard copies.
- We revealed that Karen White was not transgender.
- We undertook our first investigation regarding the alleged complaints involving trans womens in NHS hospital wards.Â
- The #EveryThreeDays campaign started – remembering a woman killed by a man.
2022
- The #EveryThreeDays campaign closed after writing 125 remembrances of a woman killed by a man
- We meet EHRC for the first time.
- We started meeting MPs and members of the HoL.Â
- We made two human rights submissions to the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions.Â
- We won the National Diversity Awards for the ‘LGBT Organisation of the Year’.
- We undertook our two investigations regarding alleged complaints about trans womens in NHS hospital wards.Â
- We pitched for funding at an LGBT event and won!
- We successfully advocated change for those applying for a Gender Recognition Certificate (MOJ was not following the President’s Guidance).Â
2023
- The EHRC confirmed we were a “key stakeholder” advocating for the trans community.Â
- We made one human rights submission to the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions, informing some LGBT+ organisations of our reasons for doing so.
- We started working with sports organisations advocating for trans-inclusivity.Â
- We successfully assisted a health charity under pressure from the gender-critical movement.Â
- We attended the Labour Party Conference and gave away well over 1000 leaflets!
- We undertook our fourth investigation regarding alleged complaints involving trans womens in NHS hospital wards.Â
- We attended Pride events.
- We undertook our first investigation regarding alleged complaints involving trans womens in NHS mental health hospitals.
- Professor Stephen Whittle OBE, Dr Finn Mackay, Rob Cleary, Katie Neeves and Rachel Walters joined the TransLucent team.Â
- We were elected to represent the trans community on the True Vision IAG hate crime panel.
- We held our first Conference at Westminster.Â
2024
- We revealed links between an EHRC commissioner and far-right Christian hate groups.
- We published data proving there are no issues with trans women using toilets and changing rooms.
- We highlighted that the Finnish Study into trans suicide risk is flawed. Â
- We exposed that the EHRC is not independent.Â
- We continue to meet numerous politicians.
- Lord Michael Cashman CBE became our patron.
- We were selected by the Department of Health and Social Care to give evidence into the puberty blocker ban.
